About CourtSeeker
Born from the Court, Built for the Community
Hi, I'm Steve — a tennis player from Cleveland, Ohio. I picked up a racquet in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the game. But as many of us know, that love often comes with a familiar frustration: showing up to play and finding every court taken.
That frustration became a regular part of my life when I started moderating Cleveland Tennis' weekly meetups. Finding an open court for 10-20 eager players isn't just inconvenient — it's a genuine test of patience.
The idea of crowdsourcing real-time availability had been rattling around in my head for years, from my kids' youth sports days and the chaos of packed rec centers and overflowing fields. When I kept running into the same problem on the tennis court, I realized nobody had solved it. So I decided to.
That's why I built CourtSeeker. The concept is simple: when players share what they're seeing on the ground, everyone benefits. No more wasted trips. No more guessing. Just real-time court availability, powered by the community that uses it every day.
Today CourtSeeker supports both tennis and pickleball — because the problem of not knowing if a court is open is the same no matter which racket you're holding.
If you've ever driven to a court only to find it full, this was built for you. CourtSeeker works anywhere players are willing to share what they see — and the more players who join, the better it gets for everyone.
Come help us build a smarter way to play.
